Maria Kamberi is a choreographer, dance researcher, and dance pedagogue. She founded the research group selas through which she explores the relationship and coexistence of movement with other arts, spaces, and scientific contexts. The group’s works have traveled abroad, fostering dialogue through art.
Her academic focus is on creativity, aesthetic literacy, the body, and museum education. She is a member of the CCRSM and Asiitej. She is the president of the Board of Directors of the Nicosia Dance House and a member of SYSCHO. She is also an academic collaborator with the University of Nicosia.
