Styliana Apostolou is a Cypriot performing artist and choreographer currently based in Cyprus. She studied at Codarts University in Rotterdam and soon began her freelance career, collaborating with musicians, fine artists, and videographers, which led her toward an interdisciplinary practice. She has performed in galleries, site specific spaces and theatres, including Synergeio Theatre, Dance House Lemesos, Theatre Rialto, and venues in the Netherlands. In 2020, she joined the Biennale College in Venice under Marie Chouinard. Styliana has worked with artists such as Xavier Le Roy, Marco D’Agostin, Federica Dauri, and Regina van Berkel.
Her short film Soldier Up was featured in Cyprus but also abroad. In 2023, she was a resident artist between Dance Days Chania and Dance House Lemesos. In 2024, she choreographed TGR, supported by the Deputy Ministry of Culture Cyprus, and The Lullaby of Horses, supported by the Cyprus Choreography Platform.
